Katylin and I grew up together. We have the kind of relationship where you can go months without seeing each other but you don’t lose any traction. When we do end up seeing each other, it is normally greeted with a big hug and ensuing jokes. Growing up, our group of friends spent a lot of time at KK’s parent’s house, which in turn means her family became an extended family for me. For this reason, being able to document KK and Clark’s wedding was so special to me. It was essentially me photographing a family wedding. KK and Clark were married at Minnetonka Orchards on a warm sunny summer day. I can’t ask for more as a photographer, it was a perfect day.
